Eriko Hattori is an artist working out of Pittsburgh, PA. They use found imagery, symbolism, and mythology to investigate the tension between sexual identity and cultural heritage. Much of their work is influenced by their Japanese heritage, their queer identity, and stories collected from friends’ experiences about their cultural backgrounds and influences. Eriko’s work has been exhibited in Providence, RI, New Orleans, LA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Brooklyn, NY and has been written about in Sukeban Magazine.
