Risograph trading cards and zines highlighting the many staircases of Pittsburgh.

Laura Zurowski has lived in three "P" cities: Providence, RI; Poughkeepsie, NY; and most recently, Pittsburgh, PA. Mis.Steps: Our Missed Connections with Pittsburgh's City Steps, attempts to recreate the journey undertaken nearly 20 years ago by Bob Regan in his books "The Steps of Pittsburgh: Portrait of a City" (2004) and "Pittsburgh Steps" (2015). In addition to publishing Polaroids and stories on Instagram and the Mis.Steps blog, a risograph printed 'zine is published twice a year in collaboration with artist and printer Jimmy Riordan. The 'zine features ten randomly selected trading cards highlighting a unique stairway, "statistics" (neighborhood, cross streets, number of steps, year built), and a short, creative nonfiction story inspired by the visit.
